Description The Mallinckrodt Tracheolife II is a compact and lightweight single use heat and moisture exchanger (HME) device for tracheostomy. This combines high humidification efficiency with long term effectiveness. It features a small collection chamber to deposit sputum, central ports for easy suctioning and sampling and HME element is made of cellulose. Its oxygen port is a position to allow heating and humidification of all inspired gases.
